2. Team Effectiveness
This program covers a broad range of issues and concepts to do with working with others and developing solid working relationships built on trust. The program focuses on collecting, analysing and communicating information with the aim of enhancing team relationships. It highlights the importance of building networks, empowerment and managing problems within the team such as conflict.
Effectiveness within the team is achieved through solid planning and sound leadership. The concept of leadership is critical in developing the underpinning skills and knowledge that lead to team cohesion that is dealt with at length.
Outcomes:
- establish team purpose, roles and responsibilities
- develop appropriate strategies to support team members
- facilitate cohesion through teamwork
