6. Workplace Safety
This program is concerned with the OHS responsibilities of employees with supervisory responsibilities to implement and monitor the organisation’s Occupational Health and Safety policies, procedures and programs in the relevant work area to meet legislative requirements. It covers the importance of disseminating relevant and current information on policies and procedures, participative arrangement for OHS management, training, hazard identification and risk assessment.
Outcomes:
- identify the organisational OHS plan in context of work environment
- participate in applying OHS strategies along with team members
